Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Arusha

Arrival at JRO and transfer to Arusha. Optional city tour or sunset hike, followed by evening safari briefing. Driving time: 30-60 min transfer. Accommodation: Tulia Boutique Hotel & Spa.

Day 2

Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park

Drive to Lake Manyara and enjoy a full-day game drive. Highlights include tree-climbing lions, seasonal flamingos, Rift Valley views, and the hippo pool. Driving time: ~2 hrs. Accommodation: Farm of Dreams Lodge.

Day 3

Karatu/Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti National Park

Drive via Ngorongoro Highlands into Serengeti, with optional Maasai village visit and en-route game viewing. Driving time: ~6 hrs. Accommodation: Safari Haven Serengeti Camp (or similar).

Day 4

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Rim

Morning and afternoon game drives in Seronera for predator sightings, then transfer to the Ngorongoro rim. Driving time: ~5-6 hrs game drives + 2 hrs transfer. Accommodation: Ang’ata Ngorongoro Camp / Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge.

Day 5

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Early crater descent for game drive and picnic lunch, then return to Arusha. Highlights include Big Five sightings, black rhino chance, and crater landscapes. Driving time: 3-4 hrs crater to Arusha. Accommodation: Tulia Boutique Hotel & Spa.

Day 6

Departure

Breakfast in Arusha, then transfer to JRO for your onward flight. Driving time: ~1 hr. Meals: Breakfast.
