What to Pack for Safari in Tanzania
Pack soft, neutral-toned clothing in breathable fabrics—mornings on the crater rim can be cool while midday on the plains is hot. A wide-brim hat, polarized sunglasses, and a light fleece or windbreaker cover most northern-circuit days.
Closed shoes with grip matter for picnic stops and lodge walks; sandals are fine for camp evenings. Bring binoculars if you own them; we carry spare pairs on request. Keep passports, medication, and cameras in your hand luggage; duffels suit bush flights better than hard suitcases.
