Best Time to Trek Mount Meru

January and February are also excellent months, with warm conditions and good clarity before the long rains begin in March.

The long rains from March to May bring wetter trails and lower visibility, making conditions significantly harder and less enjoyable for most travellers. November brings the short rains — brief and often afternoon showers — but with fewer visitors and beautiful green scenery.
