Ang’ata Ngorongoro Camp is the last night of our 4-Day Classic Tanzania Safari, and the smallest of the Ang’ata camps. It stands at the Nyati special campsite on the south-eastern rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, near the Crater Lodge, at about 2,310 m, just inside the park boundary, which allows an early descent to the crater floor before most vehicles arrive. There are eight guest tents, including a two-tent family unit, each with an en-suite bathroom with a shower, a flush toilet and a vanity desk, and a king-size bed, twin beds or a triple set-up on request, plus a lounge tent and a dining tent. Beyond the crater, the camp can arrange a day hike to Empakaai Crater, a Maasai village visit, a rim walk with an armed ranger or a bush lunch on the crater floor.
