Foot on Africa Safari Lodge is the first night of our 6-Day Tanzania Wildlife Safari, on the Great Rift Valley escarpment above Mto wa Mbu with sweeping views over Lake Manyara and the valley floor. It sits between Tarangire, Lake Manyara and the Ngorongoro highlands, so the drive from the first game drive is short and the next morning starts close to Manyara. The thatched units each have a king or queen bed under a mosquito net, a private plunge pool, indoor and outdoor showers and a wooden balcony facing the lake, made for sunsets and stargazing. Stays are full board with a dedicated butler service, and the lodge also runs its own activities: night game drives in Lake Manyara and Tarangire, canoeing, biking, walking and village visits.
