Mbuni Tented Camp is the Central Serengeti night of our 7-Day Calving Season Safari, the year-round camp of Mbuni Tented Camps, named for the Swahili word for ostrich. It stands at the Nyarusigwa campsite in Central Serengeti, about 13 km from the Seronera airstrip, among acacias below green hills in an area rich in resident wildlife. The spacious en-suite tents sit on wooden decks with verandas, canopied beds and timber-lined bathrooms, in double, twin, triple and family set-ups. The camp has reliable electricity for charging, Wi-Fi, and a restaurant and bar looking out over the plains. Mbuni also runs seasonal migration camps in Ndutu and Kogatende.
