Turaco Nungwi Resort, formerly the DoubleTree by Hilton at Nungwi and sometimes listed as Nungwi Beach Resort by Turaco, stands on the beach at Zanzibar's northern tip, next to Nungwi village. Rooms of about 33 square metres sleep up to three, with a queen bed or two twins. The resort has the Ngalawa Restaurant buffet, Fisherman's Seafood and Grill, Zeebar on the beach, Dolphin's swim-up bar, the Kasuku Café and an ice-cream parlour, and it arranges village tours, sunset cruises, bike tours, fishing, snorkelling and visits to a turtle sanctuary.
