Selous River Camp is the other comfort-level choice on our 4-Day Nyerere Safari with Boat Safari, a family-run camp in riverine forest on the bank of the Rufiji at Mloka, just outside the park boundary near Mtemere gate. It is best known for its hand-built mud huts along the river, each with a double bed, a large en-suite bathroom and a veranda looking over the water, alongside bandas, including a family banda, and plain safari tents set back in the trees. Rooms run on solar lighting and a fan, and there is a swimming pool with hippos often in view from the deck. Game drives, boat trips and guided walks are arranged from camp. Because the camp sits outside the park, park and activity fees are charged on top of the room, and we show them line by line on your quote.
