Why we use this property
Siwandu, formerly Selous Safari Camp and now run by Laba Laba, is one of the luxury upgrades on our 4-Day Nyerere Safari with Boat Safari. It stands among trees on the bank of Lake Nzerakera in the park’s central wildlife area. The camp was redesigned around a single colour, green, after a line of Lorca’s poetry: chandeliers of green clay beads, seating in green velvet and open-air showers in green zellige tile, under thatched roofs. The tented suites have a copper bathtub out on the terrace, and there is a gym alongside the dining and lounge areas. Game drives, guided walks and boat safaris on the lake are offered.
